The Caffe Primo story begins with its humbling beginnings in 2004 on Sunset Boulevard in a small 700 SF Gelateria being named the "Very Best Ice Cream" in Angeleno Magazine and "Best Dessert" in Los Angeles Magazine. The small Gelateria concept transformed into its flagship location on Sunset earning more praise as the "Best Lunch Spot LA" by City Search and "Best Coffee" by Mens Book.

The definition of "Primo" means "Best-in-Class" delivering what customers truly want. We prepare our dishes fresh everyday with the highest quality products, offered at affordable prices. We at Primo have a strong belief that by providing the best products, best service and best overall experience we can grow a small company into a world-renowned, multi-faceted global brand. Caffe Primo's original flagship restaurant has brought it's the appeal and warmth of a European Caffe with the finest quality espresso and lattes, made from the finest super-premium beans, hand-selected and custom-roasted exclusively by Caffé Primo. All coffee beans are seasonally selected from around the world from regions such as Central America, Africa and Columbia, and are certified fair trade. Baristas are required to pass a rigorous "Coffee Certification Program." Ornate foam rosettes, apples and hearts are among the many creative latte art offerings by Caffé Primo's skilled baristas.


Caffé Primo's delectable dishes are perfect for any meal, from breakfast to brunch, lunch or dinner. The broad menu features modern interpretations of Italian specialties including paninis made with fresh artisanal breads, such as the prosciutto and mozzarella panini; fresh salads like the baked salmon pesto with mixed greens, tomatoes and lemon dressing and individual pizzas such as BBQ chicken with Mozzarella and red onions and the classic margherita. Breakfast, which is served all day, includes items such as the succulent crab, swiss and tomato frittata, granola with yogurt, fresh berries and honey, and sweet crepe with Nutella and banana along with house baked pastries, muffins and cookies.

Caffe Primo Seafood/Oyster Bar in Anaheim, California is our newest restaurant concept where our guests have enjoyed fresh Oysters, Drunken Clams, Crispy Calamari, Truffle Fries, Lobster Rolls, Truffle Shrimp Pasta, Spaghetti with Crab, Penne Fra Diavalo, Dungeness Crab Cakes, Fish Tacos, Grilled Mahi Mahi, Seared Ahi Tuna and Salmon Pesto Salad.
